Peppernoetter(Peppernuts) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cubes margarine or butter, softened
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3 c. white flour (approximately)
    2 Tbsp. cream
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. cardamom
    1 tsp. finely ground black pepper
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and margarine.
    Stir in the cream.
    Sift in the flour and baking soda. Stir well.
    (It may be a little hard to stir; you might want to work in with your hands.)
    Sift together the cinnamon, cardamom and pepper.
    Add and stir well. Roll dough into 3/4-inch balls.
    Place on greased cookie sheet 1 1/2-inches apart.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Cookies will flatten out a little, but they will still be rounded and plump.
