Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium size sweet potatoes, cooked until soft, then peeled
    3 eggs, lightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. light cream
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
    4 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted and cooled
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell, chilled
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Put the sweet potatoes in a large mixing bowl and mash with a wooden spoon or a potato masher.
    Set aside.
    Combine the eggs, sugar, spices, salt, lemon zest and cream in a small bowl; whisk until combined.
    Pour this mixture into the sweet potatoes; stir until thoroughly combined.
    Add the butter; mix well.
    Pour into the pie shell and bake for an hour, or until filling is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
    Let cool completely before slicing.
