St. Joseph'S Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 Tbsp. anise seed
1 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. warm milk
6 well beaten eggs
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
-
Mix flour, sugar, butter, anise seed and salt like a pie crust, then add remaining ingredients.
Knead.
Let rise until double.
Punch down and braid into 10 small loaves (start at center and braid both ways).
Let rise again.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
