Broccoli-Onion Quiche - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) pie crust (deep dish frozen is good)
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese (divided in half)
2 1/2 c. fresh broccoli
1 to 1 1/2 c. sherdded Colby cheese (Swiss or Cheddar may also be used)
1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped onion (according to taste)
3/4 to 1 c. half and half
2 to 4 Tbsp. chicken broth or bouillon
1/2 c. sour cream or sour slim if watching weight
1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
4 to 5 eggs
dash of baking powder
dash of pepper or Tabasco (if desired)
Preparation

Prick pie crust and bake 5 minutes at 450\u00b0.
Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese.
alternate layers of broccoli pieces and grated cheese-onion mixture.
Beat eggs and all other remaining ingredients together and pour over broccoli-cheese mixture.
Sprinkle with rest of Parmesan.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 20 minutes more or until set.
