Mother'S Egg Nog - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
6 eggs, separated
12 Tbsp. sugar
2 to 6 Tbsp. nog
nutmeg
Preparation

Whip the cream in small mixing bowl.
In another small mixing bowl, beat well the egg yolks plus 1 tablespoon sugar per yolk. To cook the yolks, slowly add nog or whiskey as yolks are beaten thoroughly.
(They should become lemon colored.)
In large mixing bowl, beat egg whites until stiff; add 1 tablespoon sugar per egg white.
Fold yolk mixture into whites and then fold in the whipped cream.
Serve in bowls with a spoon.
Sprinkle with nutmeg to taste.
