Reuben Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sauerkraut, drained
    1/4 c. chopped sweet onion
    16 slices rye bread
    3/4 lb. sliced corned beef
    3/4 lb. sliced cheese
    butter
    creamy Russian dressing
Preparation
    Combine sauerkraut and onion; toss until well mixed.
    Spread dressing on each slice of bread.
    Top 8 slices of bread with corned beef, cheese and sauerkraut mixture.
    Top with remaining bread.
    Spread both sides of sandwiches with butter.
    Grill slowly until cheese melts and bread browns.
