Peach Pie(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
    3 to 4 c. sliced fresh peaches
    1 c. mashed or chopped fresh peaches
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Combine crushed peaches, water, sugar and cornstarch.
    Bring to a boil and cook until clear and thick.
    Add butter.
    Spoon this mixture over the sliced peaches which have been put in the pie shell, covering all peaches.
    Chill well.
    Serve with whipped cream.
