Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 box vanilla instant pudding
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions in a sheet cake pan. Layer everything in a punch bowl twice in the following order: pudding, 1/2 sheet cake, crumbled, cherry pie filling, 1/2 can pineapple, Cool Whip and nuts (optional).
