Preposterous Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dark Karo syrup
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. quick cooking oatmeal
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together. Beat 4 minutes.
    Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until set.
    Cool completely before cutting. Serve with whipped topping.
