Ingredients

1 stick margarine
2 c. light brown sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch pan you bake brownies in.
Add melted margarine to sugar.
Add eggs, flour, flavoring and nuts. Mix by hand and do not overmix.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350\u00b0. Cut in squares.
Makes 24.
