Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. popped corn
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. syrup or molasses
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup, water, oleo and vanilla.
    Cook until mixture threads, but not brittle.
    Add soda and pour over popped corn.
    When slightly cool, make into balls.
