Honey Pecan Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. honey
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Heat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Allow butter to reach room temperature and then cream together with honey and vanilla.
    Gradually add the flour and nut mixture.
    Do not overbeat.
    Pat dough into an 11 to 12-inch pancake on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Score halfway through into pie piece wedge shapes.
    Bake 40 minutes until lightly browned.
    Cool 10 minutes before cutting wedges all the way through.
