Betty'S Pound Cake(Vanilla Pound Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 1/3 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and shortening, add sugar gradually.
    Cream until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and beat until very light.
    Sift flour, measure and add baking powder and salt, sift together.
    Add flour alternately with milk, starting and ending with flour.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake in a large tube pan (which has been greased and floured) at 325\u00b0F for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
