Jam Cake(Layered Fruit Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. blackberry jam without seeds
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    4 eggs
    1 c. fresh coconut
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately buttermilk and flour into the egg mixture. Fold in jam, coconut and vanilla. Grease and flour 3 eight-inch pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
