Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. cocoa
    3 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine cocoa, sugar and salt.
    Gradually add milk.
    Cook to a soft ball stage (small amount of mixture dropped in a cup of cold water will form a soft ball).
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Let cool, then beat on a marble slab.
