Vegetable Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 raw potatoes
    3 raw carrots
    1 large onion
    2 c. cracker crumbs
    4 eggs
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 lb. hamburger
Preparation
    Grind the potatoes, carrots and onion or use food processor. Mix all ingredients together.
    Form in large balls, firmly packed. I use my ice cream scoop to make balls uniform.
    Fry nice and brown in limited amount of Crisco.
    Pack in deep baking dish. Cover with tomato juice and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
