Dandy Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large can yams
1 fresh lemon
1 fresh orange
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. mace
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 Tbsp. pureed coconut
1 dash salt
Preparation

Place butter in saucepan under low flame.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of lemon and 1/4 teaspoon of orange juice.
Add other ingredients and stir well until smooth consistency.
Slice yams and place in baking pan.
Pour mixture over yams and let sit for 3 minutes.
Place yams in preheated oven (350\u00b0) until bubbling brown on top, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
Serves 5 people.
