Quail In Grape Leaves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 quail
    8 bacon strips
    8 grape leaves
    1/4 c. oil
    1/2 c. white wine
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. grated cheese
    salt, pepper and parsley
    quail giblets
Preparation
    Season quail with salt and pepper.
    Wrap each, first in a strip of bacon and then in a grape leaf and tie with thread.
    Put in Dutch oven or large covered saucepan in hot oil.
    Add wine and a little water until the quail are half immersed in liquid.
    Stew until the quail are tender; undo the string.
