Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
dash of salt
1 c. water
red food coloring (15 to 25 drops)

Preparation

Combine ingredients.
Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Add cut strawberries.
Put in a baked pie shell.
Add topping of Cool Whip or whipped cream.
Garnish with sliced strawberries.
