Root Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 1/2 tsp. root beer extract
    1 cake yeast
Preparation
    Mix sugar and extract.
    Dissolve 1/2 cake yeast in small amount of water.
    Add to sugar mixture.
    Add 1 gallon of lukewarm water and mix very well.
    Store in a dark, cool place for 24 hours or longer.
