Ingredients

3 eggs
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
1/2 stick butter or margarine
1 1/2 Tbsp. cold water
2 level tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Beat eggs, add sugar, melted butter or margarine.
Mix cold water and cornstarch and add to other ingredients.
Add vanilla.
Pour into unbaked pie shell and cook at 400\u00b0 for about 10 minutes or until crust has browned.
Turn oven back to 275\u00b0 or 300\u00b0, depending on oven, and cook about 40 more minutes.
Makes 1 pie.
