Berries And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. ripe berries
    2 c. water
    1 c. sugar or to taste
    2 c. biscuit mix
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Wash berries and combine with water and sugar, using a kettle with lid.
    Boil until berries are soft and there is lots of juice. Mix biscuit mix with milk.
    Drop by teaspoonful in boiling berries.
    Cover and cook 15 minutes.
    Sugar and cinnamon may be added to dumpling mix for sweeter dough.
