Ginger Snaps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
2 1/4 flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp, cloves
Preparation
-
Cream first 4 ingredients.
Blend in next 5 ingredients.
Add 1 1/2 c. raisins if desired.
Chill.
Roll dough into small balls. Dip in sugar.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
