Creamy Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. rice (short grain regular, not instant)
    1/2 c. water
    1 qt. milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 beaten eggs
Preparation
    Cover rice with water and let stand for 5 minutes.
    Meanwhile, bring milk and sugar to a boil in saucepan.
    Add rice and water. Stir and return mixture to a boil.
    Reduce to simmer.
    Simmer 45 to 50 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Watch carefully as it has a tendency to boil over when not stirred every few minutes.
    Simmer to just about the thickness you want pudding to be.
    Remove from heat.
