Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. shrimp
    1 clove garlic
    2 medium pieces celery, chopped
    1 medium white onion
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1 pt. tomato puree
    1 pt. water
    1 pinch each: sugar, thyme, salt and pepper (to taste)
Preparation
    Clean shrimp.
    Melt enough butter in pan to cover the bottom. Add garlic and saut. Add celery, green pepper and onion.
    When these are half cooked, add tomato puree and water.
    Add pinch of sugar, thyme, salt and pepper.
    Cook about 15 minutes.
    It should be a nice thick consistency.
    Serve over steamed rice.
