Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. water
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 c. salt
    1 tsp. alum
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 Tbsp. horseradish
    2 tsp. turmeric
    fresh dill
Preparation
    Use nice young cucumbers,
    cut\teither\tround
    or small whole. Wash cucumbers.
    Place a
    head
    of
    dill
    in bottom of jar.
    Fill jar with cucumbers and add another piece of dill on top of cucumbers.\tDrain all
    water
    from jars.
    Mix all other ingredients and bring to a full boil.
    Pour over cucumbers and seal airtight.
    No processing required.
