Ingredients

3/4 c. melted butter or margarine
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat butter and both sugars well.
Add egg and vanilla, then beat.
Add remaining ingredients and mix.
Drop by 1/2 teaspoon on greased sheet, about 6 per sheet.
Bake for 4 minutes.
Let stand 2 to 3 minutes, then remove carefully.
Sprinkle some with icing sugar.
Grease cookie sheet lightly and bake at 375\u00b0.
