Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. soft butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat until fluffy.
    Stir together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
    If dough is sticky, add flour to handle.
    Roll 1/4-inch thick on well floured pastry cloth; cut out with cookie cutter.
    Place on ungreased bakery sheets.
    Bake in moderate oven at 375\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
