Hot Pepper Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can whole allspice
    1 can whole cloves
    1 can mace
    1 gal. whole hot red peppers, washed and stemmed
    1 gal. cider vinegar
    1 qt. water
    1 heaping c. garlic, chopped
Preparation
    Put spices in cheesecloth bag and add to other ingredients which have been pre-mixed.
    Cook until peppers are soft (preferably outdoors).
    Remove spice bag.
    Mash mixture through a strainer or fine colander to remove skin and seeds.
    Keeps indefinitely in typical hot sauce bottle with shaker top.
