Cheese-Onion Pie(A Big Favorite, Precursor Of Quiche) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    saltines, crushed (enough to make 1 1/2 c.)
    1/4 lb. melted butter or margarine
    3 thin sliced onions
    1/2 lb. grated Swiss cheese
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    few dashes Cayenne pepper
    2 or 3 eggs, beaten well
    1 c. hot milk
Preparation
    Mix crushed crackers with 1/4 pound melted butter or margarine.
    Press into a buttered 9-inch pie tin, to form the crust.
    (Any baking dish will do.)
