Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 small can mushroom pieces
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 pkg. mushroom gravy mix (Sauer's)
    1 c. water
    1 c. sour cream
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
    1 can French fried onion rings
Preparation
    Brown the steak in large saucepan.
    Add onion, mushrooms, soup, water and sour cream.
    Simmer for 2 hours.
    Pour over cooked egg noodles.
    Add 1 can French fried onions.
    Bake until light golden.
