Creamed Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, divided
    1/2 c. cornflakes, crumbled
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. instant minced onion
    1 tsp. sugar
    4 to 6 c. French-style green beans, cooked and drained
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar or Swiss cheese
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    In a small saucepan melt 1 tablespoon butter.
    Stir in cornflakes and set aside.
    Melt remaining butter in a large saucepan.
    Stir in flour, salt, pepper, onion and sugar.
    Heat and stir until bubbly.
    Reduce heat and add sour cream.
    Stir until smooth.
    Cook and stir over low heat for 2 minutes (do not boil). Fold in the beans; spread into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle cheese evenly over top.
    Sprinkle with cornflakes mixture.
    Bake, uncovered, at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until heated through.
    Yield:
    6 to 8 servings.
