Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    6 oz. lean pork, cubed or Canadian bacon
    2 big onions, diced
    1 lb. sauerkraut
    2 sour apples, cubed
    water
Preparation
    Saute diced onions in butter until lightly browned.
    Add cubed pork, then sauerkraut and top with cubed apples.
    Add a little water and simmer for 1/2 hour.
    Serve with mashed potatoes and pork or sausage.
