Scalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 large head cabbage
    1/4 green pepper
    1/4 medium onion
    2 c. thick white sauce
Preparation
    Cook cabbage until almost tender and drain.
    Saute green pepper and onion in 1/2 stick of butter.
    Place cabbage in buttered casserole.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Mix sauce with pepper and onion; pour over cabbage.
    Top with cheese and bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
