Brown Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. white rice, uncooked
    2 cans beef consomme soup
    1 can sliced mushrooms (do not drain, optional)
Preparation
    Saute onion in margarine.
    Add rice, soup and mushrooms.
    Bake in a 2-quart casserole dish, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
