Boiled Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 level Tbsp. flour
    2 eggs
    1 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    2/3 tsp. salt
    1/3 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Put the butter, flour, sugar, eggs, mustard, salt and pepper into a bowl or the inner part of a double boiler and cook over hot water till they begin to thicken.
    Add the vinegar and continue the cooking three minutes.
    Beat the mixture occasionally while cooling.
    Keep in refrigerator.
    This dressing will remain good several weeks.
