Glogg(Swedish Glogg) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (26 oz.) bottle dry red wine or 1 (26 oz.) bottle Aquavit
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick cinnamon
    5 cloves
    6 cardamon seeds, crushed
    1 orange peel spiral
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine wine, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, cardamon and orange peel in saucepan. Stir to blend.
    Let stand 3 to 4 hours.
    Heat, but do not boil.
    Light with a match and pour burning into heatproof cups containing a few almonds and raisins.
    Makes 8 servings.
