Mom'S Pinto Bean Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 egg
    2 c. pinto beans, cooked and mashed well
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. raw chopped apples
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts/pecans)
Preparation
    Grease and flour large tube pan or 2 loaf pans. Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Cream together in large bowl the sugar, oil, egg and pinto beans until thoroughly blended. Sift together flour, soda, salt and spices. Add gradually to bean mixture, beating well each time. Fold in chopped apples, raisins and nuts. Pour into prepared pan or pans and bake in preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
