Chicken Philippine Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) broiler chicken, cut in pieces
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
Preparation
    Marinate chicken in mixture of other ingredients for 30 minutes.
    This can be done
    in skillet to be used for cooking. Heat on top of stove until
    it
    comes
    to
    a
    boil.
    Cover and simmer about 40 minutes or
    until almost all liquid has evaporated.
    Serve hot or cold.
