Elizabeth Oat Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. uncooked oatmeal
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. milk
    1/3 c. melted margarine
    1 large egg
    1/2 c. raisins or currants
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. melted margarine
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Add wet ingredients.
    Mix. Add raisins.
    On floured wax paper, pat dough into 8-inch square. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut into triangles.
    Brush scones with melted margarine and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Transfer scones to ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 14 to 16 minutes.
    Serve warm.
