Buttermilk Jello Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium can crushed pineapple
3 small boxes any flavor Jell-O
1 qt. buttermilk
1 c. (8 oz.) Cool Whip
nuts
coconut
marshmallows (if desired)
Preparation

Bring pineapple (including juice) to boil.
Add Jell-O and mix thoroughly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in buttermilk.
Cool in refrigerator for 1 1/2 hours or until thick.
Blend in Cool Whip and extras, if added.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan and refrigerate until firm.
