Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    3 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 box white raisins
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 c. fig preserves
    1/2 c. strawberry preserves
    18 oz. red cherries, chopped
    18 oz. green cherries, chopped
    10 oz. candied pineapple, chopped
Preparation
    Cream Crisco. Gradually add sugar.
    Cream until light and fluffy.
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Add eggs, one at a time.
    Mix the two mixtures together.
    Add milk and flavoring. Blend thoroughly. Mix raisins with 2 tablespoons of flour. Warm raisins and then add to mixture.
    Add preserves and cherries. Then add nuts. Bake at 225\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Then turn oven to 275\u00b0 until done.
