Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. popcorn (when popped it equals about 12 c.)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. peanuts or mixed nuts
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    6 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Pop corn; add nuts and salt.
    In saucepan, melt butter.
    Add brown sugar and water; stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Boil without stirring to soft ball stage (238\u00b0).
    Put popped corn and nuts in buttered roaster.
    Pour caramel mixture over them and mix well.
    Bake at 200\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
