Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    1 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in heavy saucepan; cook to a soft ball. Beat by hand until good consistency.
    Spread on cake.
