Kennedy Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/4 lb. margarine
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    8 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream butter, margarine and sugar.
    Add one egg at the time, until you use 6 eggs.
    Beat in flour, baking soda and salt.
    Add vanilla and the last 2 eggs.
    Pour into greased tube pan.
    Bake in cold oven at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours to 2 hours and 15 minutes.
