Glazed Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. water
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. pecan halves, toasted
Preparation
    Toast pecans on a cookie sheet on middle rack of oven at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Mix all other ingredients except pecans.
    Bring to a boil and cook to soft ball stage.
    Stir constantly being careful not to burn.
    Remove from heat and add pecans; stir enough to coat with syrup.
    Separate on waxed paper.
    Cool.
    Store in airtight container.
