Apple Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced apples
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Arrange 1/2 of apples in bottom of 9-inch unbaked pie shell. Mix sugar and flour; spread 1/2 over apples.
    Pour in remainder of apples and spread remainder of flour-sugar mixture.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Pat with butter and dash of nutmeg.
    Pour milk, mixed with beaten egg and vanilla, over entire mixture.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for about 50 minutes.
