The Big Sweet(Sweet Potato Pie) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 medium size sweet potatoes (dark, long and skinny are sweetest)
1/2 stick butter (soft)
1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger or to taste
milk as needed
Preparation

Cook the potatoes with skins on in boiling water for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
After boiling, cut ends off about 1/2 inch on each side.
Peel and cut potatoes lengthwise into strips.
While potatoes are still hot, put in bowl and add remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Add just enough milk to make mixture stiff when stirring.
Put mixture in pie crust (make your own).
Bake at 320\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes, or until pie crust is done.
