Twinky Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake mix, prepared according to directions
    1 c. milk
    5 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. oleo
Preparation
    Prepare the cake according to directions and cook in a 9 x 13-inch wax paper lined pan.
    Turn the cake onto a cookie sheet after cooled.
    Cook the milk with the flour, stirring constantly, until boiled and thick (like paste).
    Cool.
    Beat the vanilla, sugar, salt, Crisco and oleo until very light and fluffy.
    Add paste to this; beat until very smooth.
    Split cake and put this between the layers.
