Loaf Bread Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 or 5 slices bread
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
Preparation

Best on cobblers (apple or peach).
Cut bread slices into strips.
Beat together egg, sugar, and melted butter or margarine. Prepare fruit and sweeten to taste.
Put into casserole dish.
Cut off crust and cut bread into 4 strips; lay over fruit.
Pour egg mixture over bread.
Smooth over all and bake until brown, about 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
